ClimaBarn Presents Zone-by-Zone Barn Ventilation at Tarmstedter Ausstellung 2026
FabricAir presented ClimaBarn, its textile-duct HVAC system built specially for livestock housing, at the Tarmstedter Ausstellung, held July 10-13, 2026, in Tarmstedt, Germany. Designed to cut the hidden costs of heat stress in dairy cows, the system delivers tailored airflow to each of a barn’s four zones: the milking parlour, lying area, feeding area, and calf barn.
The fair
Known as Northern Germany’s largest specialized trade fair, Tarmstedter Ausstellung has run every July since 1949.
This year’s edition drew around 100,000 visitors and more than 750 exhibitors. The fairground covers 18 hectares of outdoor space plus seven exhibition halls.
More than 1,000 animals took part, including cattle breeding competitions such as the Masterrind Jungzüchtertag. That put ClimaBarn’s booth in direct contact with the dairy farmers and breeders its system is designed to serve.
ClimaBarn’s presence
At our booth, Thomas Michaelsen, FabricAir’s Sales Director for Europe, and Benjamin Bäck, Regional Sales Manager for Germany and Austria, represented the brand. They fielded detailed questions from visitors about installation and airflow design for their own barns. The interest it’s a sign that heat stress is becoming a bigger priority across the region and that ClimaBarn stands out as the solution to keep temperatures stable.
